Pin the Drone on the Warzone

On April 9, 2013, the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Young Americans for Liberty conducted “Pin the Drone on the Warzone” to demonstrate to students the expansiveness of US intervention in other countries & have fun while doing it.  We used the $100 grant to have the map professionally printed, get a nice display board(36×48), blindfolds, & pushpins.

We ended up with a large and impressive display.

While I was worried about the weather the night before as thunderstorms were in the forecast as a possibility (and we planned the event a week in advanced) we turned out having great weather all day.  The weather along with our great location (in front of the library in our Oak Grove which is a place students congregate in during nice days) helped us to have somewhere between 30 or 40 students playing the game, with numerous others who wanted information about the event who we gave the YAL antiwar palm cards.

By the numbers:

  • 5 Hours
  • 6 Yal Members participated
  • 9 new contacts

This was a very successful event that fostered a lot of discussion regarding The War On Terror!
