Real Heroism (not the murderous government kind)

A day of reckoning is not far away for many liberal folks that claim to be pro-peace but continue to support the Democratic Party. They need to realize that beating around the bush of warfare state’s atrocities by putting an irrationally collectivist, wussy yellow magnet on their car alongside a “Yes we did,” bumpersticker isn’t going to put an end to any wars. It may keep some of the more prominent ones in good graces to be “bon ami” with the power elite “cocktail crowd,” but no substantive change will come about from it.

I wish they could draw upon the example of these heroes below, who in the face of massive peer pressure, social ostracization, and potential prosecution, knew the only way to put the end to government wars was to stand up against them. Incidentally, Air Force veteran Ron Paul does too.
