Recruiting Doesn’t Stop at Campbell University

The chapter at Campbell University spent the past week hosting events and recruiting. We hosted Cory Swanson, the President of the John Locke Foundation with the Adam Smith Economic Club. We had over 90 people show up to hear Mr. Swanson speak about economic prosperity and the work of nonprofits and think tanks.

Cory Swanson Speaking Event

Our first official meeting of the semester took place last night to plan out the events and our first Movie Night is this Friday.  Lots of our members are excited to watch ‘Lets Be Cops’ and talk about power and responsible governing.

John Locke Event w/ Adam Smith Club

We tabled in the hallway to take requests for speakers and events on campus. This event was great because we really got to reach out and hear what people wanted to see on campus this semester. It also was a good opportunity to team up with other liberty organizations. We are off to a great start and can’t wait to host more meetings and events.
