Our University of Wisconsin-Superior chapter was working extra hard on recruiting new members last month during February’s recruitment campaign.
We even held a raffle for a free YAL t-shirt (congrats to Katrina on winning that!). People stopped by to hear about activism and upcoming events and were sent off with free pocket constitutions. We got tons of new sign-ups!
All of our hard work paid off when we were able to bring 13 members to the Iowa State Convention! We picked up two people from the UW-Eau Claire chapter as well. To end the weekend, we went to Mondo’s Draft House to enjoy a delicious brunch as a YAL family (we highly recommend the food and bottomless mimosas!)
We all learned a lot at the convention, and we’re getting members pumped up to attend the Michigan State Convention on March 28th!
In more recent news, one of our very own members, Thomas Radke, was appointed Wisconsin State Chair of YAL! Way to go, Tom!Published in
