Roger Stone at Fordham University

YAL State Chair and SFL Tri-State Coordinator Jacob Linker, working with the Fordham College Republicans and his own Fordham Libertarians (a YAL-affiliated org) hosted Political Operative Roger Stone at Fordham University on Tuesday October 10th.

The event was highly controversial given Stone’s past statements regarding race and gender that were deemed by the vast majority or people as highly offensive, but the event itself was a smashing success. The controversy of Stone turned a campus that is typically politically stagnant (speakers rarely getting above 80 people for example) into a political hotbed as over 400 students attended. The President of the University, Joseph McShane, condemned the engagement. His commentary likely contributed to positive turnout.
