Despite not being officially recognized by Roosevelt University that didn’t stop the YAL chapter from clip-boarding around campus. We walked around the various student lounges, cafeterias, and activity rooms of the Wabash Building. We were able to bring the YAL message directly to students. We brought copies of the Constitution, stickers, pens and buttons to pass out to students.
We ended up getting several signatures from interested students. With no other political organizations on campus, we have the opportunity to make some serious waves here. The search is ongoing for a faculty sponsor, but at least the YAL name and message are getting out at Roosevelt!Published in
