On September 7 Rutgers University Young Americans for Liberty tabled at the Student Involvement Fair on the historic College Avenue Campus in New Brunswick, NJ. Thousands of Rutgers students were at the fair visiting the tables for hundreds of different student organizations. Many students stopped by our table and took the World’s Smallest Political Quiz and copies of Pocket Constitutions. It was great to see how many students were interested and passionate about the Liberty Movement! However, there were a few students who expressed disagreement with pro-liberty ideals. We still invited them to come out and join us at our meetings and share their political opinions.
We tabled from 12 – 4 p.m. and filled many sheets on our clipboards with a ton of signups! There were many interested students continuously stopping by our table that we completely forgot to take pictures to document our tabling, but will be sure to at our next event. This week we will be having our first meeting of the semester. Our YAL chapter is beyond excited to meet with all of our fellow Rutgers liberty enthusiasts! Prior to our meeting, we will be tabling again on College Avenue. We will show our support for criminal justice reform by handing out “FREE liber-TEA” and brownies!Published in
