Students for Liberty recently held a Regional Conference in Northern California, and members of YAL partnered with them in organizing the event which was held at DeAnza College in Cupertino California.
Our YAL Regional Director, Nathan Fatal gave a powerful presentation on continuing to grow our movement in California. He brought insightful information on how to communicate with potential members, and even helped new members plan on starting a new chapter at University of San Francisco (USF).
As we reviewed a successful year of activism, one of our state chairs, Kevin Suarez, brought in speakers from FIRE, and an economics professor from San Jose State University to discuss free speech, and Austrian economics.
The conference was packed, and SFL held true to their standards of holding quality events. The food was good, the speakers were interesting, and more importantly the people were awesome.Published in
