Patrick Deneen is one of my favorite bloggers. His recent piece “Social Injustice” shows liberal “Social Justice” (2 links there) to be nothing more than fluffy words and groupthink. He clearly explains how colleges and universities that indoctrinate students into thinking that success comes when they graduate and move into progressive enclaves of educated ‘creative class’ types, do much more harm than good (if any good comes from it). The piece was also picked up by the Washington Post, but I got it by way of my very favorite colloquim of writers: the Front Porch Republic.
Plus, it’s always fun to turn conventional wisdom on its head. Cheers to decentralization!Published in
