Southern Miss YAL Chapter Participates in Membership Drive

On August 29, the members of Young Americans for Liberty at Southern Miss participated in their first membership drive as an officially recognized chapter on campus by tabling at the university’s Fall Involvement Fair. Our chapter’s officers and Mississippi State Chair, Hunter Richardson, were on hand to speak to interested studentsDuring the event, we passed out copies of the Constitution and other informative items to help promote and spread our message of liberty and free speech on campus.

The Involvement Fair was a great way for our chapter to reach out to the new freshmen on campus and to share with everyone our big plans for the fall semester. We look forward to hosting the many events we have planned this semester, including a “Restore the Fourth” event during Constitution Week as well as a “Your right. Your life.” demonstration.
