Liberty is alive and well on the St. Olaf College campus in Northfield, Minnesota!
On Friday September 6th, our YAL chapter participated in the Co-Curricular fair at our school. Being a new YAL chapter, I had no idea what to expect. I didn’t know how interested the student body would be with the liberty movement. But much to my surprise and delight, we had a very successful day on our small campus! We had nearly 70 sign-ups!
We had all sorts of students stop by, anyone from known conservatives and liberals, to registered libertarians. But I noticed that many, if not most, students who were interested in the club have not been actively engaged with politics in the past, but wish to become involved. What better way than Young Americans for Liberty?!
We were also able to chat with leaders of the College Republicans, College Democrats, and NORML, and look forward to working with each as the year progresses!Published in
