Last weekend, November 10th an 11th, YAL leaders from across the wide state of Tennessee gathered in Nashville to attend the Youth Leadership School.
Two of Tennesee’s state chairs, Shane McGonigal and I, tag-teamed the event. Shane, as an LI rep, taught much of the course and I assured leaders in the corners of the state that the drive was worth their while. The room was packed with a diverse crowd of libertarian and conservative leaders from not only Tennessee but bordering states like Mississippi as well.
Between courses, I had the Tennessee YAL and SFL leaders gather for a picture together.
Representing: UT Memphis, Rhodes College, MTSU, and UT Chattanooga. Also featured: UT Knoxville and ETSU’s SFL chapter leaders.
I sat with the new leaders of the MTSU YAL Chapter, my alma matter, so I could talk to them about what they were learning and answer their questions.
Meet Tyler Parrow, President and Adam Hinds, Vice President:
After this weekend of intense activism and leadership training I think that you can expect to see some big things coming out of Tennessee very soon!Published in
