The Duty of Civil Disobedience

On August 23, 2010 liberty activists from the central Florida area gathered in front of Orlando City Hall to intentionally violate a city ordinance banning “Group Feeding” (25 or more persons) within a 2 mile radius of City Hall.  All local media were notified prior to our demonstration and City Hall members were even invited to join us.

We violated this law and were able to feed over 100 homeless people without any confrontations with local law enforcement.  We hope to continue this trend and explore the freedom of assembly by applying the same tactics to local  Public Assembly Ordinances.

We hope to create  an easily replicated template for effective civil disobedience.  As our network expands, we want to educate activists about the importance of this issue and other issues like jury nullification.

If anyone is interested in resisting state oppression by engaging in non-violent civil disobedience please get in touch with me at
