The Principles of ’98

In the midst of Montana, soon Alaska, and hopefully many other states passing laws nullifying federal gun laws, it’s interesting to note that the way in which these states are pressing their rights has a precedent which dates back over 200 years.  Check out this video of Thomas Woods speaking about the Principle of ’98, involving the Virginia and Kentucky resolutions, which stated that these states would not enforce certain federal laws within their borders.
