Earlier this week, Concordia’s YAL group met for our holiday party before the semester came to an end. There was cider, eggnog, and cookies galore, not to mention people from all over our campus political spectrum.
In addition to YAL members, I recognized individuals there from the campus Republicans, as well as avowed socialists. We were all able to come together with our shared love of liberty and the holiday season, and talk about how our liberty has protected religion still to this day. There may be many different reasons for the season, but Liberty is the reason we still have a season.Published in
