University of Rhode Island Activism

The Young Americans for Liberty chapter at the University of Rhode Island held a Recruitment drive in which we were able to talk about the message of liberty on our campus. We talked with students about free markets, and the right to free speech which is a highly contested issue here on campus. We also passed out several copies of pocket constitutions and had students participate in a political quiz.

We were able get several sign-ups as a result. We even were able to win over some liberals and helped show them the importance of free speech on campuses. All in all, the recruitment drive was a great success. We got signups, and made new friends along the way. We look forward to having more events on campus and spreading the message of liberty.
