On Constitution Day, our chapter handed out booklets containing the Constitution on the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh campus.
We chose to utilize the Reeve Memorial Union in order to maximize the number of students reached by this program. The proceedings started in the afternoon and ended before evening.
Students unaffiliated with YAL were receptive to our message. Several approached the chapter afterwards inquiring as to the nature of the organization and why we chose this specific mode of activism. By generating awareness of civil liberties and classical liberalism, our chapter provided a valuable service and education opportunity for the campus.
