The GWU YAL Chapter spread awareness of the War on YOUth on Kogan Plaza, the center of our city campus. We attracted many curious onlookers who came to hear exactly what the War on Youth meant. Our crowd included students, professors, and many other DC pedestrians.
We were especially delighted to show off GW’s politically active reputation to groups of prospective students visiting campus. Ponging off our dept drew lots of attention and promoted many questions and visits to the table. Those who passed by were happy to hear about YAL and the books and resources we offered, and overall the event was a good time for all. We advertised our imminent social with the AU chapter at our event.
