Fat Head Obama

On the evening of April 15, San Francisco State University Young Americans for Liberty debated the College Democrats at Jack Adams Hall in front of an audience of around 20 people. Although the crowd was smaller than expected, the debate went great. The topics included healthcare, argued by the chapter President Niike Andino; gun control, argued by Financial Advisor Andrew Crilly and Internal Outreach Director Reem Tahir; and poverty argued by Vice President Ryan Powers. In all three debates, the YAL SFSU team absolutely destroyed arguments by the College Democrats. We plan to do it again next semester.

We took this opportunity to hold our chapter’s first War on Youth event. It was fun to hang out with others around the table and talk to them about different issues. The Obama Fat-Head was popular to those that stuck around after the debate. Even the College Democrats enjoyed goofing on Obama. This was definitely good practice for future War on Youth events!
