West Chester University Incarceration Nation and Free Speech Ball

In March and April, our Young Americans for Liberty/Students for Liberty chapter at West Chester University ran an Incarceration Nation tabling event as well as a free speech beach ball event.

For the former, we set up the PVC pipe jail cell and had one of our club members stand behind it wearing orange scrubs.  We engaged quite a few students that day, but not as many as we would have liked. Overall, we were able to get a couple pages of signups and educate a decent number of students on mass incarceration in the United States.

For the free speech event, we used a giant, 12 foot tall beach ball and rolled it around the academic quad of our campus. Over a hundred people interacted with us and wrote on our ball.
