The UCLA Chapter of Young Americans for Liberty kicked off the start of the school year by holding recruitment at the school’s annual Enormous Activities Fair.
This time around, the beginning of the school year was pushed back a week, so we began officially recruiting in October. Nonetheless, waves of new and returning students gathered at the fair to check out all the on-campus organizations, giving YAL at UCLA a great opportunity to identify and recruit new members.
As in years past, our chapter decided to use the tried and true method of attracting new sign-ups through the 10-question political quiz provided by YAL.
We generated a lot of interest in libertarian principles, and our quiz prompted fruitful discussion about current events.
In the end, our efforts resulted in more than 100 sign-ups. YAL at UCLA is off to a good start!Published in
