YAL at UIS Involvement Expo

Young Americans For Liberty at the University of Illinois Springfield was able to get a table at the school’s involvement expo on August 30th. During the event, YAL connected with many students interested in the organization, consequentially receiving approximately 21 signatures. By the end of the event, almost all of our pamphlets and constitutions had been handed out, mostly to people who stopped by and talked with us. While some students did not write down their name, they still expressed interest in the ideas of liberty. Not only did we gain interest of students, but some teachers and community members stopped by and we had plenty of peaceful discussions about what YAL represents and why.

We hope that this year will be a big win for Liberty at the U of I Springfield!
