YAL @ CMU has a rocky start to the year

The YAL chapter on the campus of Central Methodist University hasn’t had the best of luck during our first semester of school.

Tied up lines of communication between the chapter members and our faculty advisor have stalled the process of getting official recognition from the university, which cuts deeply into our opportunities to table and recruit. Word-of-mouth has been our most effective method of interacting with potential new members.

The other members and myself are now looking into recruiting an additional faculty advisor and ensuring that proper communication takes place between the active members and potential recruits.

That being said, we think things are looking up. There’s still a long semester ahead, and we look forward to making an impact for liberty at CMU!
