This fall has been a busy one so far for the University of Denver’s liberty-minded students. We’ve been out there trying to recruit new members for our relatively new chapter. So far we’ve run three major tabling events that have yielded more than 60 new sign-ups for our email list!
Our first event was the Pioneer Carnival where we ran Operation Politically Homeless. A lot of DU freshmen were surprised that they fit in the libertarian category. Our next event was for Constitution Week where we displayed a Graveyard of the Constitution. Finally, we had a table at DebateFest, an event held for the DU students and alumni who were unable to attend the first presidential debate in person.
Overall, it’s been a promising fall quarter so far. Hopefully, it will continue to be a great year for YAL-DU!
