YAL member responds to criticism over campus gulag

I recently made a blog post about the Washington University’s reaction to the YAL campus gulag. The post included an article written by  Sneha Thakur in which she talked about YAL’s “inappropriate” presentation of their campus gulag to demonstrate the potential consequences of current policies.

Phillip Christofanelli, a member of YAL, responded to Thakur’s comments by clearing up what Young Americans for Liberty stands for.  He concluded:

[T]o cherry-pick and mischaracterize  facts in an attempt to cast our organization as some sort of band of vicious reactionaries is incorrect and inappropriate. I encourage Thakur to attend one of our meetings if she wishes to better understand our goals.
