YAL Oakland U. Great American Pancake Summit

Another day, another successful event for YAL at Oakland University. Students from Oakland’s chapter met at President Matt Brafman’s apartment to watch the inauguration, discuss future chapter events, and eat a variety of pancakes. Flavors ranged from white chocolate to rainbow goldfish.

Chapter members watched the inauguration proceedings while discussing upcoming events. A free speech event is planned for the 25th and 8th, and we will host an Incarceration Nation event on February 1st. Today’s event saw the debut of the chapters cardboard cutouts (to be used at a future event).

This event also doubled as a constitutional convention, with the chapter constitution being rewritten.
