YAL pulls off the very first Arizona State Convention!

On February 21, Young Americans for Liberty hosted our first ever YAL Arizona State Convention at Arizona State University in Tempe.

We were overwhelmed by the response. Around 120 activists from Arizona and surrounding states took time out of their Saturdays to hear from some of the most prominent advocates for limited government and to learn how to effectively organize for liberty.

The convention started with professional grassroots campaign training from the Leadership Institute, then after lunch, we were honored to be joined by Maricopa County GOP Chairman Tyler Bowyer, Americans for Prosperity State Director Tom Jenney, State Representative Warren Petersen, State Senator Kelli Ward, Rare.us Politics Editor Jack Hunter, Former Congressman Barry Goldwater, Jr., and Congressman David Schweikert.

All in all, the convention was a great success and a testament to how much the liberty movement has grown on college campuses in the state of Arizona. May the message of freedom continue to spread, and may our resolve never waver!
