The Hazlitt Coalition

The Hazlitt Coalition is YAL’s growing network of state legislators advocating for principled policies that free markets, protect civil liberties, and promote peace. Our experienced mentors train legislators to effectively work with stakeholders, leadership and constituents to craft the strongest policies that solve society’s most pressing problems.

Alliance Defending Freedom

Alliance Defending Freedom is an alliance-building legal organization that unites attorneys, ministry leaders, pastors, and like-minded organizations in a common purpose: a shared commitment to defending religious liberty, the sanctity of life, and marriage and family.

The American Conservation Coalition

The American Conservation Coalition is changing the narrative on environmental discussions through the promotion of free-market and pro-business environmentalism in legislatures, college campuses, the political arena, and beyond.

The American Conservative Magazine

The American Conservative was founded in 2002 as a conservative voice against the Iraq War and neoconservative agenda. TAC is “the magazine for thinking conservatives.”

The Atlas Society

Ayn Rand’s philosophical works have been praised as presenting historic breakthroughs in thinking. At the Atlas Society, our scholars work to further develop this philosophy born in the mid-twentieth century. We present the empowering principles of Objectivism to a global audience, and offer those principles as a rational and moral alternative in the marketplace of philosophical ideas.

America’s Future Foundation

The mission of America’s Future Foundation is to identify and develop young professional leaders for liberty. That mission is accomplished by providing principled young professionals with opportunities they could not find elsewhere.

American Legislative Exchange Council

The American Legislative Exchange Council is America’s largest nonpartisan, voluntary membership organization of state legislators dedicated to the principles of limited government, free markets and federalism. Comprised of nearly one-quarter of the country’s state legislators and stakeholders from across the policy spectrum, ALEC members represent more than 60 million Americans and provide jobs to more than 30 million people in the United States.Prosperity is committed to educating citizens about economic policy and mobilizing those citizens as advocates in the public policy process.

Campaign for Liberty

Center for Self Governance

The Center for Self Governance is a non-profit, non-partisan educational organization dedicated to training citizens in applied civics, founded on the belief in the capacity of mankind for self governance.



Charles Koch Institute

Through research, education, and discussion, the Charles Koch Institute aims to advance an understanding of how to help people improve their lives. They offer educational programs to students and professionals, including full-time and internship opportunities. During 2015, more than 400 people completed one of their programs, and they currently have over 3,000 alumni.

In an increasingly divisive and high-tension political climate, the  mission of FreedomFactor is to unite Americans on the 3 things the US Constitution was designed to protect: peace, prosperity, and freedom.

Freedom Fest 

FreedomFest is an annual festival where free minds meet to celebrate “great books, great ideas, and great thinkers” in an open-minded environment. It is independent, non-partisan, and not affiliated with any organization or think tank. FreedomFest invites the best and the brightest thought influencers from around the world to talk, strategize, socialize, and celebrate liberty. FreedomFest is open to all and is purely egalitarian; speakers, attendees, and exhibitors are treated with equal respect and interest.

Free The People

Free the People’s goal is to get ahead of politics, and engage in the cultural exchange that will set the political agenda for the next 50 years. They  want to set the conversation, instead of settling for rhetorical scraps tossed to us by the political class. They  want to make the community for liberty a cool thing.

Fund for American Studies

The mission of TFAS, its board, staff and their thousands of supporters is to change the world by developing leaders for a free society. TFAS offers transformational programs that teach the principles of limited government, free-market economics and honorable leadership to students and young professionals in America and around the world.

The Goldwater Institute

The Goldwater Institute is an independent government watchdog supported by people who are committed to expanding free enterprise and liberty. The Institute develops innovative, principled solutions to pressing issues facing the states and enforces constitutionally limited government through litigation.

Gun Owners of America

GOA was founded in 1975 by Sen. H.L. (Bill) Richardson (now retired). The GOA Board of Directors brings over 100 years of combined knowledge and experience on guns, legislation and politics. GOA’s Board is not satisfied with the “status quo.” Americans have lost some of our precious gun rights and we want them back! This is why GOA is considered the “no compromise” gun lobby.


Founded in 2009, i360 originally sought to fill the innovation gap between campaigns and organizations that promote free market candidates and causes and their opponents.  By creating a comprehensive data resource of all voting Americans, i360’s goal was to raise the quality of data and increase the access to it for all groups as well as to create the tools to enable them to effectively put that data to use.

The John Quincy Adams Society is committed to identifying, educating, and equipping the next generation of scholars and policy leaders to encourage a new era of realism and restraint in American foreign policy.

Ladies of Liberty Alliance

The Ladies of Liberty Alliance is a network of independent, libertarian women leaders who, through their careers and/or personal endeavors, are dedicated to spreading the ideas of individual liberty and free markets.  Participation in the Ladies of Liberty Alliance is open to any female who identifies with, or is wishing to explore, libertarian ideas.

Liberty Fund was founded in 1960 by Pierre F. Goodrich, an Indianapolis businessman and lawyer, with the mission of encouraging a deeper understanding of the requisites for restoring and preserving the ideal of a society of free and responsible individuals.

The Mises Institute

It is the mission of the Mises Institute to place human choice at the center of economic theory, to encourage a revival of critical historical research, and to advance the Misesian tradition of thought.

Pacific Legal Foundation

Pacific Legal Foundation is the oldest and most successful public interest legal organization that fights for limited government, property rights, individual rights and a balanced approach to environmental protection.

Pepperdine School of Public Policy

The Pepperdine School of Public Policy was founded almost two decades ago as a response to what was being offered on the policy school landscape. While many programs offer a technocratic approach to policy development, we invite students to consider the multiple dimensions that affect actual policy implementation. This demands a singular core curriculum, including coursework in policy analysis along with understanding policy’s moral and distinctly American elements. Taxpayers United of America  

Taxpayers United of America (TUA) is a nonpartisan, 501(c)(4) taxpayer advocacy group. Founded June 27, 1976 in Chicago, Illinois by activist and economist Jim Tobin, TUA works on behalf of taxpayers to reduce local, state, and federal taxes. In the past forty years, TUA has saved taxpayers more than $200 billion in taxes and has become one of the largest taxpayer organizations in America.

US Term Limits

U.S. Term Limits (USTL), based out of Washington, D.C., advocates for term limits at all levels of government. Since it was established in the early 1990s, was and continues to be at the forefront of the term limits movement. Using the citizen initiative as its most potent tool, the term limits movement is considered to be among the most successful grass roots movements in American history.

Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation

The Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation is a Washington-based, non-profit educational and human rights organization devoted to commemorating the more than 100 million victims of communism around the world and to the freedom of those still living under totalitarian regimes.
