YAL’s Liberty Candidate Academy is open to all those who are serious about running for office on the principles of Liberty, current YAL members, alumni, and those who support the principles of liberty regardless of age or political party. Whether you are a candidate for public office, a campaign volunteer, staffer, consultant, or an activist in your state interested in supporting candidates — this training will equip you to make maximum impact during the election season.
Our day-long training will include modules on fundraising, list building, door knocking, mail, texting, and phones. We will cover how to craft your message and managing your data with a targeted universe. You will walk out of the training in the evening with a very clear idea about what you need to do to win your race. If you are on the fence about running, you will leave the school knowing exactly what you are getting into and will be able to make a final decision on whether you are up to the task. This training is not for philosophers, debaters, or non-serious people. Establishment hacks and far-left socialists need not apply. This course is designed for freedom-loving patriots who want to take their country back for liberty.

By completing the above form, I agree to participate in the selected Young Americans for Liberty Inc.’s (“YAL”) Liberty Candidate Academy (“LCA”). I will notify YAL Staff ASAP if for any reason I become unable to attend the event. I understand that if I fail to provide such notice, I will be responsible for reimbursing YAL for any housing costs incurred related to my anticipated attendance. I agree to take this opportunity seriously, show up prepared, and be respectful. I also grant YAL a perpetual and irrevocable license to use any and all images and/or video captured during the event that features me. Such rights shall include the right to use all such materials on or within any medium (print, email, digital, etc.) of YAL’s choosing, including in news releases, promotional materials, social media, and/or educational materials without my prior review and approval. I further agree that my name and identity may be revealed in descriptive text or commentary in connection with the image(s) and/or video. I authorize the use of these images and/or video without compensation to me and hereby waive any and all claims related to the use of such images and/or video, including but not limited to, those claims related to invasion of privacy, infringement of copyright, right of publicity, or any other claim related to use of name and/or likeness following my attendance at the LCA. All negatives, prints, digital reproductions shall be the sole property of YAL. You recognize and understand that attendance at events such as the LCA are not without risk, including dangers and risks inherent in any physical activity or widely attended event. YAL specifically disclaims any and all liability related to your involvement and attendance at the LCA. You further agree to assume full responsibility for the risks related to such attendance and that by submitting your application, you hereby indicate your acceptance and agreement to the terms of the registration. By agreeing to attend event, you, your heirs, executors, successors, administrators, assigns, and whoever else may have in interest hereby release YAL from any and all liability related to your involvement and attendance at the LCA. You hereby agree to attend the LCA at your own risk and accept full responsibility related thereto.
