Grassroots Action Trainings (GATs) are regional weekend-long trainings where students and supporters learn the strategies and technology to Make Liberty Win.

Experts in the field will train on petitioning, campaigns, applying grassroots pressure, and list-building for the cause. National YAL staff will guide training on creating YAL chapters in colleges, door-knocking and phone-banking, and how you can make a difference with just a few political tools. Legislators from our Liberty Coalition will share real case studies from their time in state capitols, giving attendees a glimpse into the world of grassroots politics.
