YAL South Carolina State Chair Britton Wolf worked with campus leaders at College of Charleston throughout the entirety of 2019 working to draw the attention of campus administrators over the school’s unconstitutional policy regarding permits for free assembly.

In April 2020, ADF delivered a demand letter to the school as part of ADF and YAL’s joint campaign to overturn speech codes in Spring 2020. In August, while ADF was following up with the administrators of campuses across the country, CoC informed ADF that due the contents of the letter, the school had updated its policies and removed any mention of reservation requirements.
